Villa Delmar is located in Cahuita, Limon, very close from Cahuita National Park, considered to be one of the wildest areas of greater beauty in the country. Its dense tropical forest borders a light blue sea with wonderful white sand beaches, abundant wild life and fascinating coralline reef, making all together the components of this idyllic place.

The coralline reef, in front of Punta Cahuita, lodges an extraordinary wealth and is the most representative ecosystem of the park.

There’s a natural footpath that crosses the park bordering the coast, between Caita and Puerto Vargas, we recommended you to travel it in its totality. An idea is to enter by a sector and to leave by the other.

Don’t leave behind your fins and mask, because you’ll probably need them to enjoy the coralline reefs near the coast. Although if you wish to know better the place, for diving or snorkeling, we recommended to contract a guide with boat.
The prettiest and cleanest beaches of the place are Playa Blanca near from town and Puerto Vargas, where is located the National Park administration and also there’s a zone with facilities for camping. In the other side of Cahuita, you can find Playa Negra, a black sand beach so peculiar that it will surprise you.

The Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, a rustic region with a sea of nice waves and a prehistoric rain forest, that extends by 125 miles from the border with Panama to the border with Nicaragua. Tourists enjoy the most the white sand beaches, but in fact this is one of the regions with more geographic diversity of Costa Rica. In the center the forests approach beaches, the north has marshy lagoons and in the south the Salamancas Mountains touch the sky.

Freeway 32, well-known like the Guápiles freeway, connects Limon with the rest of Costa Rica. This straight line way connects San José with Puerto Limon, a town now without much activity but at its time was a port of export of bananas. By days, during carnival, Limon transforms into a place of partying and fun.
